ALOKABODHI Buddhist Group

Studied fine art, drama and theatre studies at university and worked as a community arts project worker for a while, until the funding ran out!  Last post was regional co-ordinator for ICAS within the CAB.  I lived in Malaysia when I was 19 for two years, which was a very enriching experience and opened me to all the wonders of a multicultural life, so rich in spiritual diversity.  I became very interested in seeking a spiritual path at 26, not long after my dad died.  I jumped about with the Hari Krishnas, sat looking at a wall with a Zen group, learned to play the sitar (appalingly) as well as being a mum.  I have two daughters and lovely grandchildren.
