About Me
I am an old friend of the Maidstone group, attending my first meetings in 1984. My first contact with Ajahn Sumedho and the Chithurst Sangha was in 1979 although at that time I was absolutely certain I would never be a monk! After living as a Bhikkhu for a number of years in monasteries in the UK, Thailand, USA and Australia I have now returned to lay life and live with my elderly mother in Maidstone. Dhamma practice remains a key aspect of my life so I really enjoy spending quality time with like minded friends and offering support when ever I can. See you next week all being well- sorry to have missed your talk . Good luck with the gadgetry! xxx
Dear Ajahn Tim, I was unable to be at the meeting last week . Do you know if your talk on craving will be posted onto the audio files so I could have a listen? Thanks Lotty
Hello lovely Ajahn Tim! I'm very well, have just returned from Gaia House where I had a wonderful retreat. Would love to see everyone although as you know my days and times are limited. All is well with me, my sitting practice continues and my online sangha are very present.
Bright blessings to you all. Metta x
I am good thank you. unfortunately i have been unable to attend any meetings as i have been very busy with my work in the evenings. hopefully will be able to come soon.
I'm glad I came along on Tuesday. I'll apologise in advance for strolling in late for the next few weeks as up until 7th April my other half is training for her first half marathon at, you guessed it, 7.30pm every Tuesday ! But after this date i should be on time most of the time.
See you next week.
I am indeed
If my train home from college permits it, I will see you tomorrow Thanks for the message!
Thank you Ajahn Tim, I enjoyed Friday evening and do hope to attend future meetings. Friday's may be more difficult now as my son is back at training and I am once again chauffeur! This may mean I am five minutes late and wouldn't want to interrupt the meditation so am unsure if it is ok for me to come on a Friday? Thankfully I note the next meeting is on a Tuesday which should be fine :-)
Thank you Ajahn .. that would be great . I hate driving alone at night in Winter ..
Hi Ajahn Tim, thank you for your message. Unfortunately it does not look like I will be able to make the walk on Sunday but will if circumstances change. I'll hopefully catch up with you at the Blackthorn again. I will be there next Tuesday. We met and spoke once before last year. I was introduced to your group via Chris Cullen. Best wishes, John.
Ha ...you know me xx i will upload one shortly xx hope all is well x
Thank you, delighted to join. Sadly I can't make the walk but I am hoping to come along next Tuesday. Hope to meet you then.
Dear Ajahn Tim, Thank you for your kind welcome. I would really like to attend this Friday group if I may, although it will mean coming straight from work in Tonbridge so I may be less than fresh, I'm working outdoors re-painting houses. Would it be OK for me to come Friday evening? I haven't been to a buddhist meeting for over two months since moving back here from Wiltshire and am missing it..
Dear Ajahn Tim, how are you doing? Hope your health is better. Occasionally I look in the site and look at things here and there (articles, notes, photos etc.) and a few weeks ago I noticed Sakula from the USA. I met her at Abhayagiri ab out 10 years ago and sent her a message. She replied but she doesn't seem to receive my messages anymore... could I ask you, if possible, to let her have my e-mail address? dhammikoe@yahoo.it, or perhaps you could let me have hers, if you have it.
I am fine and doing the usual things. Antonella, my wife did inthe end publish that book on anatta a few months ago. Please give my warmest greetings to Bee and to Kalyano. Take care and be well. Metta Dhammiko
Ajahn Tim - when my work pattern allows I would love to join with the Alokabodhi group - East Grinstead is not so far to come. I?m also away seeking a little Winter sunshine for a couple of weeks, however, I do have a copy of your book for company. By the way, I made it down to Chithurst for Ajahn Chah?s Memorial Day on the 16th Jan; the late night vigil was beautifully interspersed with meditation then Dhamma readings of Luang Por. The straight forward clarity of Ajahn?s word?s are always a source of inspiration. Hopefully, I?ll join you soon.
Best wishes, Warren

Hi Neil, thank you very much that is very kind. I look forward to joining your group. Everything I'am learning about buddism and medatation is fascinating and I'am finding the whole experience life changing. It has given me hope during a difficult time. Thankyou for welcoming me.

Happy new year!
I would like to encourage many of the group, who I often see at meetings, to participate in this web site and share some of the good things that naturally arise when we have the opportunity.
